How
do I set up/change/cancel an appointment?
|
Call
us at (951) 684-2627 and remember to have your insurance
information handy. There is a $50.00 late cancellation
fee for any cancellation with less than a 24 hours notice
without an emergency. Exemptions to the fee are
determined by your therapist/psychiatrist. |
How
do I get to the office/hospital?
|
We
are located near the Riverside Plaza at 6529 Riverside Ave
Ste. 133 between Arlington and Central. You can exit
Arlington of Central from the 91 freeway. |
Do
I have to pay for my visit at the time of my appointment?
|
Please
ask your insurance about your co-pay amount or deductible
amount. You are responsible for claims that are not
paid by your insurance company. |
Who
should I see?
|
Psychiatrist
perform diagnostic interviews, determine whether or not
medications may be indicated and develop treatment plans as
well as provide therapy. As a General and a Child and
Adolescent Psychiatrist, Dr. Kotomori works with adults,
adolescents and children.
Psychologists
and Therapists offer individual, couples and marital therapy
to address symptoms of psychiatric disorders, personality
and interpersonal difficulties to increase self awareness,
reduce distress and approach life with a realty based, more
productive and fulfilling orientation.

How
can I get a prescription refilled?
|
In order to
enhance patient compliance with treatment and to improve
patient care and follow up, Dr. Kotomori no longer refills
medications without an appointment. |
How
can I find out results to my tests?
|
The
results of tests will be discussed with you during your
appointment. Urgent lab. findings will prompt a telephone
call to you. |
What
do I do in an emergency?
|
Call
911 in an emergency. Urgent psychiatric issues may be
addressed by calling your individual provider and using
their emergency contact information indicated on voicemail.
You can
also call the police (911), a 24-hour crisis line (951)
686-HELP, or the 24-hour Psych. Emergency (951) 358-4881
through the County of Riverside Department of Mental Health

should I contact if I get sick after office hours or on weekends?
